It’s an intriguing, but typically acquired taste. But is it more than a food fad?

As for that warning, Healthline notes that eating too many can lead to “heartburn, stomach upset, increased bowel movements, sleep problems, anxiety, and pregnancy complications.” It is also known to increase the risk of “bad” or LDL cholesterol.
